- ➤ Decatur Day organizers are asking for historic status at 346 W. Trinity Place in Beacon Hill to preserve downtown’s last green space and honor local heritage. - ➤ At its Jan. 12 meeting, the DeKalb County Board of Education elected Allyson Gevertz as chair and Awet Eyasu as vice chair.
