- ➤ DeKalb County School District launched a feedback phase on Feb. 12 to gather input on proposals for consolidating and repurposing schools—community responses will shape potential changes gradually over six-to-eight years before recommendations are made in late 2026. The Champion

- ➤ A new survey by the Atlanta Regional Commission shows that metro workers are increasing telework, with rates rising from 43% to 60% and full-time home work increasing from 6% to 20% (reducing commutes by five minutes on average). The survey covers 20 counties with trips averaging 18.5 miles. WSB-TV

- ➤ LifeLine Animal Project will offer free pet vaccinations, microchipping, spay and neuter services plus supplies on Feb. 28 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in DeKalb and Fulton counties. - ➤ AMLI Residential signed a 10-year sublease with a mystery grocery set to anchor its Commerce Drive mixed-use project replacing 'Baby' Kroger — the grocer is expected to be Trader Joe’s but will announce officially soon.
