- ➤ CEO Lorraine Cochran-Johnson named Christopher Bass as director of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Affairs on Feb. 9 in DeKalb County. Bass (with over 15 years of public service) will oversee 127 parks, playgrounds and cultural spaces. The Champion
- ➤ Atlanta and DeKalb County parks will receive $3.5M from ParkPride grants to fund playground upgrades, new gathering spaces and parking lot renovations in 19 parks, including entrance improvements at Adair Park II on Murphy Avenue.
