- ➤ Today, 35 countries in the International Energy Agency will release 400 million barrels of oil to ease rising gas prices, and Gov. Brian Kemp said he will watch markets before possibly suspending the state gas tax if prices do not stabilize. Atlanta News First
- ➤ DeKalb County resumed its cost-of-care petitions for court-held pets at Lifeline Animal Project—pets are not available for adoption until surrendered by their owners. Officials discussed filing recovery motions and adding a court-held dog coordinator position at the March 10 meeting, with a resolution to continue deliberations on March 24. Decaturish
- ➤ DeKalb County commissioners approved $1.18 million to expand free spay and neuter services and mobile vet clinics by LifeLine Animal Project, boosting procedures from 1,000 to 6,000 annually.
