- ➤ A woman was shot and had her car stolen after meeting a man from a dating app at a park on Phillips Road as officers arrived at around 1:10 a.m. on March 13 and found her with a gunshot wound to the hip—she said the man fled with her phone. FOX 5 Atlanta

- ➤ Georgia's Department of Labor reports that the unemployment rate stayed at 3.6% in January, just a hair below the national average despite a drop of 28,200 jobs. Job gains happened in manufacturing-state government and private education, while declines were seen in transportation, warehousing and food services along with a slight rise in unemployment claims.
