- ➤ On Jan. 3rd, a MARTA bus driver was fatally shot during a fare dispute at a Decatur station and the case moves forward with a 16-year-old charged with murder (charges for two other suspects have been dropped), the DeKalb County District Attorney's Office announced on March 14th. Decaturish

- ➤ DeKalb County is opening four severe weather centers at 8 p.m. today as storms approach and a nonprofit group will bus people from the streets to safe locations. - ➤ DeKalb County said upcoming lane closures on North Druid Hills Road—set from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on March 18 and 19—will conclude a long water line repair and paving project that frustrated drivers since the work began on November 13.
