- ➤ DeKalb County officials, along with GBI, ATF — and CPD, executed a search warrant on Cleethropes Drive in Lithonia where a grand jury indicted 17 alleged gang members on charges including drug and firearm offenses and violations of the street gang terrorism and prevention act, with three also facing armed robbery and felony murder charges for the April 4, 2024 killing of Nicholas Grierson while police seized 20 firearms, illegal switch devices and evidence of a psychedelic mushroom operation. - ➤ State Superintendent Richard Woods visited City Schools of Decatur today to present banners to the principals at Talley Street Upper Elementary and Beacon Hill Middle School for earning State Leader Schools status.
