  • Voices of Faith Church volunteers served Special Olympics athletes at the DeKalb County School District track and field event on Thursday, Mar. 26. The church has supported the event annually since 2022 as over 300+ athletes competed.  On Common Ground News
  • Following a community outcry, Sherry’s Produce reached an agreement to use 15 to 20 parking spaces at the Brockett Square lot in Tucker after outdoor parking changes caused concern when a nearby store closed. Co-owner Tina Dorsey said her father and a lawyer worked out the deal.  Decaturish
  • Needle Nook, one of DeKalb County’s longest-running woman-owned businesses, celebrated its 50th anniversary on March 20 with an open-house featuring yarn releases and community stitching events (including a 50 Years, 25 Squares Anniversary Yarn Bingo) at its Briarcliff Road shop.
