- ➤ DeKalb County Fire Rescue is hosting the free Blazing Brave Girls Camp today from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the DeKalb County Fire Rescue Academy — 3161 Warren Road, Decatur — for high school girls aged 14-18 to learn firefighting skills through hands-on activities such as gear dress, CPR training, ladder climbing, and fire hose use. - ➤ DeKalb County government announced plans to build a real-time crime center that will use surveillance, data analysis, drone technology and emergency response coordination—this center is part of broader investments including police salary raises that took effect on March 1.
