EDUCATION NEWS

  • Agnes Scott College in Decatur announced that first-year students will soon complete a three-part AI curriculum to learn critical thinking regarding the ethical use of artificial intelligence. The program will help students assess bias, privacy, and labor change (and environmental impact) as essential modern skills.  The Champion

SPORTS NEWS

  • Coach James Hartry ended his 26-year basketball career at Tucker High after over 500 wins and 21 straight playoff appearances, leaving a legacy of state titles and awards + he will coach the varsity softball team next season.  The Champion
  • Lakeside High School senior Joseph Austin won a gold medal in the 113-division title match at the GHSA Wrestling State Championships in February, ending a 29-year drought for the school. He built momentum with strong wins earlier in the season against top competitors.  The Champion
