- ➤ On June 15th, 2022, a violent incident at a daycare in unincorporated Decatur saw Taco Nash Jr. chase and shoot a woman holding her young child in a wooded area, and a DeKalb jury convicted him on 13 counts including felony murder and he was sentenced to life in prison without parole+ his actions left a lasting shock on those who witnessed the tragedy.
