- ➤ The City of Decatur announced that current job opportunities are now listed online and applicants must follow detailed instructions—emailed resumes will not be accepted—and application information will be kept on file for six months. City of Decatur
- ➤ On March 3, 2025, the city commission in Decatur updated the noise ordinance after a public process. The rule, which became effective on July 1, sets limits of 65 dB(a) from 7:00 a.m. to 9:59 p.m. plus 60 dB(a) from 10:00 p.m. to 6:59 a.m. and restricts equipment use during certain hours while allowing exceptions for city work and approved events.
