- ➤ Decatur police are searching for 72-year-old Robert E. Johnson with Alzheimer's after he was last seen Monday at an apartment on Trinity Place—citizens are urged to call 911 with any information. Fox 5 Atlanta

- ➤ DeKalb County School District launched summer registration hubs to help families sign up for school programs — officials said the hubs will operate through the summer to ease enrollment. Atlanta News First

- ➤ Michael McCarriagher, a veteran forensic scientist who began his career in 2007, has been promoted to assistant deputy director of the GBI Crime Lab and will oversee operations at selected regional laboratories. - ➤ DeKalb County officials said last year there were 960 water main breaks and about 12 miles of pipe are at high risk—officials also added a 10-year capital improvement plan costing $4.27 billion that will raise water and sewer rates by 10% each year and include a $160 million transmission main loop from the water treatment plant to Northlake Mall in Tucker.
