- ➤ Frontline Response received a $750,000 donation from Lowe's Home Improvement and Spry Global to help fund a $1.2 million expansion at its DeKalb facility at 2585 Gresham Road. The project will nearly double the bed capacity from 260 to almost 400—adding private restrooms, modern showers, exam rooms, a walk-up community café and space for service pets. WSB-TV

- ➤ On July 22, the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office, with help from the U.S. Marshals and South Fulton PD S.W.A.T., arrested Marcus Overstreet, 42, of Atlanta at a Flat Shoals Road apartment in Union City—he is accused of murdering Mario Culver whose body was found in a burning car last December.
