Family, friends and the public gathered on August 22nd at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church Atlanta in Dunwoody to honor Officer David Rose—killed while responding to a shooting outside the CDC headquarters.

Decatur’s historic Agnes Scott College Main Hall reopened in August 2024 after a 33.8 million dollar renovation that added a 184 kilowatt solar array and preserved many original features—earning LEED Platinum status by scoring 89 points and marking a significant push toward sustainability.
