Good morning, Decatur.

Decatur’s Kimball House received a $50,000 grant from American Express and the National Trust for Historic Preservation through the Backing Small Historic Restaurants program—funds that will help preserve the historic building that once served as a railroad depot.

The men of metro Atlanta's MOST will try to break their third kickball world record — a challenge that will help them raise money and awareness for their work combating sex trafficking.

They plan the record attempt soon to support their mission.

Decatur began repaving Church Street on Monday from East Ponce de Leon to East Trinity Place—this three to four week project will run Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and include paving, concrete repairs and new striping; on-street parking will be restricted with a temporary commercial loading zone on eastbound Sycamore Street and one lane kept open with flaggers.
