- ➤ DeKalb County School District is holding public meetings to discuss the future of Druid Hills High School—its oldest facility built in 1927—with a session today at DeKalb School of the Arts and another next Monday at Druid Hills Middle School. District leaders will debate options including selling the property, relocating the school or modernizing the building that has faced issues such as exposed wiring, leaking sewage and cracked walls. - ➤ DeKalb County Schools announced that starting in January when the second half of the 2025-26 school year begins, all schools will have a 30-minute recess time instead of 15 minutes.
