- ➤ Kimberly Cantron said she and her 21-year-old son Miles barely escaped a burning home on Ward Bluff Court on Sunday morning—losing all their belongings as the DeKalb County Fire Department arrived at 6:40 a.m. and found the house fully engulfed in flames. WSB-TV
- ➤ A large condo fire in DeKalb County displaced nearly 20 people today—emergency crews responded quickly to evacuate residents. WSB-TV

- ➤ Residents in Lindmoor Woods are worried about the planned I-285 Eastside Express Lanes Project—residents say the new lanes may lower home values and increase noise and air quality issues, and GDOT will hold open houses for community feedback as planning continues. GDOT stated that private investors will fund the project and that measures will be taken to minimize property acquisitions. Decaturish
