- ➤ A local group called Save Decatur Schools has formed to oppose proposed consolidation plans for Decatur schools—its members want to keep the current school structure intact. WSB-TV
- ➤ Agnes Scott College was named a Top Performer in sustainability by the Sustainable Campus Index — the report used the STARS system to rank colleges worldwide.
