- ➤ A national moving company has launched its third annual Movers for Mutts donation drive to collect pet food, blankets, cleaning supplies, toys, treats, collars, leashes, and cash for two local pet rescues at drop-off points in DeKalb County until Nov 19. A Paint your Pet night was held on Nov 9 and a charity day will take place on Nov 15 + both events support LifeLine Animal Project and Ruff Redemption Rescue. The Champion
- ➤ Agape Atlanta is hosting a Run 4 Love 5K and Holiday Gift Store to change lives by offering support and resources to local families during the holiday season. - ➤ DeKalb County firefighters battled a large blaze (which started early Wednesday morning) at South River Art Studio (1300 block of Fleetwood Drive) while investigators work to find the cause and no one was hurt. FOX 5 Atlanta

- ➤ Callanwolde Fine Arts Center will expand by buying a church across the street to add 28,500 square feet of space and 140 parking spots — boosting its class capacity. The center will raise the remaining $2 million by Dec. 1 and start renovations with the first phase finishing by summer — supported by a $4.2 million county contribution and an extended lease. - ➤ Stone Mountain Park is hosting Stone Mountain Christmas until January 4—this event features a 6:00 p.m. parade, an enchanted tree lighting ceremony, and an 8:20 p.m. drone and light show with fireworks.
