- ➤ DeKalb County will host its 3rd Annual Spirit of DeKalb Awards on Dec 13 at Perimeter Crowne Plaza Ravinia, honoring community leaders, innovators, and changemakers. - ➤ DeKalb County police responded at 11 a.m. Friday in Lithonia when they found a nonverbal boy running onto the roadway and took him to a hospital for evaluation + they are asking anyone who recognizes him to call 911 or their non-emergency line. WSB-TV
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Appointments for heating bill assistance will open on Jan 2 for seniors and homebound and on Feb 2 for the general public in DeKalb, Gwinnett, Rockdale, Newton and Walton counties.
