Good morning, Decatur.
DeKalb County Police are searching for two missing girls—12-year-old Hailey and 13-year-old Taylor—who were last seen together around 11 p.m. Monday night on the 1000 block of North Hairston Road, with Hailey in a black tank top and pink Hello Kitty pants and Taylor in a black shirt and tights.

James Rabbit said he drove eight hours from Myrtle Beach to Atlanta after seeing a Facebook ad to buy a 1977 Oldsmobile Cutlass and was robbed at gunpoint by Regi Knight, who accepted a 25-year sentence—16 years of which he will serve—even though Rabbit thinks the punishment is too lenient.
DeKalb County Schools broke ground on Sequoyah Middle School and Sequoyah High School on Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Aztec Road campus in Doraville—these schools will share sports fields and a gym and will serve many Hispanic students in the Buford Highway corridor, with the middle school finishing in 2027 and the high school in 2029.
